Lots of people while many hours of the day by going online. Perhaps they play casual online games. Or maybe they make purchases of various items that interest. People an also spend many hours just watching online videos, just as they spend hours watching TV. They may also just answer polls and surveys, to help out. Maybe they even find great shopping deals or fantastic products, and they tell their online social circles all about these things.

If you do any of these things, then you’re probably doing them for free. What Swagbucks does is give just a little bit of money for these activities that you’d actually do for free anyway. You earn SB points for many different things. You earn 1 to 4 SB points for watching videos, 75 points for taking a survey, or 90 points for getting someone to sign up for Swagbucks.

You earn money when:

  • You use the Swagbucks search engine to look for purchases and online deals.
  • You shop for online items.
  • You watch online videos.
  • You answer surveys sent out by various sellers or marketers.
  • You play online games.

You can accumulate SB points as you go along, and each SB point each is worth a penny. Before you know it you may have accumulated 2,500 points and that’s enough to get you $25 discount or gift card.

There are quite a lot of good things to be said for Swagbucks.

  • It’s a totally legit company, as it’s been featured in the Huntington Post and USA Today. They have more than 12 million members and have paid out more than $120 million.
  • It gives you gift cards and money for doing things that you’d do for free anyway.
  • There are no special limits or fine print. Becoming a member is free. You can convert your SB points into cash or discounts at any time.

Still, it’s not exactly an effective get-rich-quick scheme.

  • You don’t actually earn much money. Most people just earn enough to get a few dollars off from their online purchases.
  • Doing Swagbucks activities, such as playing games, watching videos, and taking surveys, can get a bit addictive. You may not realize just how much time you’ve spent on your various Swagbucks activities. It may even eat into the time you have to spend for your real work!

With 12 million people as members, Swagbucks is obviously for everyone. It’s geared towards those who like to “putter” around online to pass away their time. It’s for you if you like to go online

So who is it for? It’s great for stay at home spouses who have some free time at home to go online. It’s also great for retirees. But it also works for everyday working folks and students too. If you have some free time after work or on weekdays, this can be for you. If you already spend time playing games, making online surveys, watching videos, and making online searches and purchases, then you may as well do it through Swagbucks. This way, you’re making a little bit of money for activities you tend to do for free anyway.

It’s like paying a couch potato to watch TV, a gamer to play their favorite games, or an athlete to participate in sports. They do all these things for free anyway—so getting paid for these things is a very sweet deal.

You don’t really need tools in the various activities, because you already know how to do these things. You already know how to search online, how to make purchases, how to complete polls and surveys and how to play games. You don’t need training for these things!

However, there are several ways to go about it. You can do it the old-fashioned way by using your home PC. Nowadays, you can also just download the app and use your smartphone. So when you’re bored on the road, you can amuse yourself by playing games or taking polls. You just get bonus SB points as you do these things.

There are a few articles on the Swagbucks website on the proper do’s and don’ts when it comes to earning SB points. There’s also a Help Center on the Swagbucks website, and you can read over various FAQs to make things clearer for you. There’s also a way for you to submit a request. That’s basically it.

There’s really no need for these things anyway. Yes, the help Center clarifies how you can earn the SB points so you can accumulate them. You learn how to turn them into gift certificates or turn them into cash from PayPal.

Everything’s easy to understand. If you have some trouble, all you need to do is to look up the answer in the Help Center, and you’re good to go.

It’s really free, in terms of how much money you have to shell out. However, in terms of time, then it’s quite expensive.

All these things you need to do to earn pennies aren’t all that difficult or challenging. They just take a lot of time to do. Before you know it, 3 hours have passed as you do your surveys, polls, games, and purchases. Still, you don’t earn much at all.

This isn’t a really steady way to earn some easy supplementary income. It’s certainly not something for which you can give up your day job for. Basically, it’s just a way for you to earn a few dollars for doing things online that you’d do for free anyway.

If you’re content to just earn a few dollars here and there, then it’s perfect for you. You’re getting paid to do things you’re actually already doing for free. But if you’re looking for a real and serious way to make money online, then you absolutely need something else.
